Seniors Roster

Our 'seniors' roster is the clubs most popular roster.

Dont let the name of the roster fool you, its open to anybody who can play. Traditionally it has been an adult-centric social roster but if you want to play lacrosse, you will probably want to play in this. Because of its social nature, anyone is more than welcome to play.

We play a slightly modified version of the official Australian womens lacrosse rules. A copy of the rules that we play can be found at the bottom of the page. It comes in two forms; a short beginners guide, and an advanced guide. Neither has all the rules perse, but they give a decent enough idea of what is and isnt ok. We have a full copy of the rules on the field for reference.

Demographically,
Our youngest player at the moment would be around the age of 13, whilst the oldest would be in their mid 30s; with the average age about 18. The balance is fairly even in terms of gender, perhaps siding on the more-men side.

When/where
Sunday afternoons from 2pm - 4pm, from May through to July for the Autumn Roster
We play at Lower Queenborough Ground 1 in Sandy Bay. It is on the corner of Sandy Bay Road and Nelson Road, just opposite from Wrest Point Casino, close to the University of Tasmania.
The kickoff date for 2010 is 9th May at 2pm.

The Spring/Summer roster will kick-off around September.
