Tasmania Lacrosse

We have a full mens roster starting this wednesday (9th may onwards)
It's at the lower uni rugby ground next to Sandy Bay road. Bring your friends, colleagues family, anyone you think might enjoy our game. Lacrosse is fast, hard hitting and something different to the other sports on offer.

Beginners are also especially welcomed and assistance with skills will be offered and equipment will be provided. You will also need to bring your own mouthguard and a box/cup is strongly recommended.

If you can arrive early, ideally 5.45 to ensure we start on time and registration forms are filled out. Any questions let us know, remember the more players we get, the cheaper and more rewarding our seasons will be!

Costs are as follows
$10 per game
$40 Registration due by second week, this includes Ground Hire, insurance, equipment, lights etc. The first week will have a friendly game to break new players in, and registration forms will be filled out etc.

South Australia Lacrosse will be hosting a box lacrosse tournament on the March long weekend (Fri 9th & Sat 10th). Expressions of interest are welcome for anyone that wants to go over from Tasmania Lacrosse to play matches.

Whilst Tasmania Lacrosse has its own rulebook, it may be of interest that the 2012 Men's Field Lacrosse rulebook has been updated on a national scale. See the attached document to find all of the rules.

FIL 2014 Men’s World Championship, to be held in Denver USA, 10th – 19th July 2014.
